The honey is produced artisanally and on a small scale by honey enthusiast and beekeeper János Szabó in Hungary. With great love and passion, he produces honey from several different types of flowers. The different flowers give the honey its unique, characteristic taste and color. We buy our honey directly from the beekeeper!

János is careful not to heat his honey above 40 degrees. This ensures that the honey retains all its nutrients and natural levels of propolis. Propolis honey is considered to have good health-promoting effects!

Acacia honey is characterized by its light color and delicate taste! The lighter the honey, the higher the proportion of nectar from acacia flowers the bees have collected. When the acacia bloom begins to come to an end, the bees instead switch to collecting nectar from, among other things, Rapeseed, which causes the honey to become yellower in color and the taste to change. It is not easy to find 100% acacia honey in regular grocery stores, but it is often mixed and diluted with other types of honey.

Hungarian acacia honey is a real delicacy and contains nectar from the Robinia tree. The honey stays naturally liquid due to its high content of fructose and is golden yellow in color. Acacia honey has a mild and delicate flavor and is excellent for drizzling over yogurt, salads and in cooking.

Or enjoy it just as it is!
