Terms of purchase
General information
These general terms and conditions apply when you as a consumer place an order at UngerskMat.se. The agreement is concluded between you as a consumer and the company Retail Corner (Organization number 969673-3931).
Ordering
When you have placed an order in our online store www.hungarianfood.se you accept our terms and conditions of purchase and agree to our privacy policy. We will begin processing your order once it has been registered in our systems (for shipping and delivery see section below). We reserve the right to cancel an order if delivery of the goods cannot take place. We also reserve the right to close out items. If items are sold out, they will be cancelled from the order and from the payment. Information about any close out items can be found in the delivery confirmation and in the payment information.
Delivery times*
Normally, your package will be sent the same day as the order if your order is placed no later than 12:00 on weekdays. The delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout. The delivery time is usually 1-2 weekdays, but we reserve the right to take up to 15 working days. In the event of a delay that we cannot remedy within a reasonable time, you as a customer have the right to cancel the purchase at no extra cost.
All deliveries are made by the selected forwarder according to the delivery methods presented before completing the order and are charged with the current price list. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the address and contact information provided to us at the time of ordering are correct and that the buyer, after we have executed the order, follows up on the delivery with the forwarder and ensures that the delivery is collected and received according to the forwarder's instructions. Delivery takes place within Sweden and the rest of the EU.

It is possible to pick up your package directly from our warehouse in Torslanda, Gothenburg. Your order is usually ready for pickup within 24 hours every weekday excluding holidays. You will receive a delivery notification via email when your package is ready for pickup.

You will receive a delivery confirmation via email when your order is ready to be picked up at our warehouse. The delivery confirmation contains a link so you can track and see the status of the package. Click on the link " A delivery is on its way to you " to proceed and see the status.
*Some products in our store can be pre-ordered before they are in stock. Pre-order items and delivery times are listed on the respective product page. When you make a pre-order, the item is reserved for you and we will ship it as soon as it is available. If the delivery should change, we will inform you via email. Orders that contain both in-stock and pre-ordered products are normally shipped when all items are in stock.
Order confirmation & delivery confirmation
When you have completed your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation via email and when the goods leave our warehouse, you will receive a delivery confirmation. You as a customer will receive a separate notification from the selected shipping carrier. Therefore, always check that your contact details are correct before completing your purchase. If you have not received any notification from the shipping carrier within 3 working days of receiving your delivery confirmation from us, please contact our customer service for help tracking the package. Please note that for larger orders, the goods may be sent in several separate packages with unique shipping numbers.
Please note that you will also receive a delivery confirmation when you choose to pick up your package at our warehouse in Torslanda. Follow the link in the email to see information about status and pickup.
Unclaimed package
Unclaimed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal. In cases where packages are not collected and/or returned to us because the customer/recipient 1) was not reachable at the telephone number provided for notification, 2) refused to accept the delivery or 3) provided incorrect contact information such as address, telephone number or e-mail, the customer will be charged a return fee. The fee corresponds to the costs incurred by us in sending the package and receiving it in return. If the purchase price exceeds 300 SEK, a return fee of 300 SEK including VAT will be charged. If the purchase price is less than 300 SEK, the value of the goods including shipping and VAT will be charged. The amount is charged by deducting the fee amount from the order amount that is refunded after the return has arrived at our warehouse. Packages are returned to us after 7 days.
Prices and VAT
Our standard prices are stated in Swedish kronor including VAT. VAT is 6% for all books, 12% for all food and 25% VAT on other products. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. It is possible to see prices in other currencies in the menu at the top left.
Transport damage
If damage occurs during transport, please report the damage to our customer service via the email address kundtjänst@ungerskmat.se with one or more attached pictures of the damage. We follow the guidelines of the Swedish Consumer Agency and the report must be made within a reasonable time after the buyer noticed or should have noticed the defect. Therefore, it is important that you as a consumer unpack and inspect your products carefully. Depending on the extent of the damage, a re-delivery, repair or price reduction will be made.
Right of withdrawal
The Act on Distance and Off-Premises Contracts is the law that regulates the right of withdrawal and specifies the following exceptions:
- Goods that can quickly deteriorate or become outdated, such as food
- Goods that cannot be conveniently returned due to health or hygiene reasons and the seal has been broken by the consumer
We are therefore unable to accept returns of food. Please read more about shopping for food online at The Swedish Consumer Agency .
For other goods where the value exceeds 400 SEK, you as a customer have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period begins on the day you as a consumer receive the goods. Our condition is that the goods are returned in their original condition, i.e. that they are not used and that the original packaging is included. Of course, you as a customer always have the right to open the packaging to check that the goods work. If these requirements are not met, a fee of 300 SEK will be charged. The amount is charged by deducting the fee amount from the order amount that is refunded after the return has arrived at our warehouse.
Do this:
- Contact our customer service via contact form or send an email to kundtjänst@ungerskmat.se We will send you a return shipping label (cost 89 SEK).
- Please pack the goods well so that they are not damaged during return shipping. Please use the packaging that came with the delivery and enclose the original packaging and return it to your nearest representative.
- Once we have received the item and approved the return, we will adjust your payment. If the item was damaged during return shipping or if we are unable to approve the return for any other reason, you will be charged a fee of SEK 300.
Shelf life & Best before date
Our goods have a minimum shelf life of 14 days from the time they leave our warehouse for delivery. If you as a customer have special requests or specific questions about shelf life, storage or products, please contact our customer service at kundtjanst@ungerskmat.se . UngerskMat.se is responsible for the shelf life of the products during transport until the goods arrive at the agent.
For expiration dates shorter than 14 days, price discounts or promotions are applied as shown on the respective product page.
Complaint
It is important to us that you are satisfied with your products! Therefore, please contact us at kundtjänst@ungerskmat.se as soon as possible if you are dissatisfied. Tell us why you are dissatisfied and attach one or more pictures of the product. Also include your order number!
Dispute
In the event of a dispute, UngerskMat.se will follow the decision of the Swedish Complaints Board .
